Wine Made the Ram Scram
The name Los Carneros means “the rams” in Spanish. In the 1830s, this current-day Californian wine region had plenty more sheep, dairies, and hay fields than vineyards…all the way up until the 1970s! Today, Carneros has 8,000 vineyard acres.
