The Grape Monarchy
Noble grapes are most recognizable for the top-quality wine they produce, and are usually internationally grown. There is no official list of noble grape varieties, but six classic varieties are: Cabernet Sauvignon,
Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Sauvignon Blanc.
